Submissions Guide

We are not currently accepting submissions but please see below for our standard guidelines :

We currently publish volumes of poetry and short fiction, under the title of Biot; A short journal/anthology style publication, featuring a collection of work from selected up-and-coming and established authors.

If you would like to submit for Biot then please send us up to 3 poems or 1 piece of flash fiction of no more than 600 words, for consideration, to the address below.

The theme for our volumes is completely open and we will choose what we consider to be the most adventurous, entertaining and exciting work.

We aim to respond to submissions that we receive within 30 days, however sometimes this may not be possible, so please remain patient.

Our best advice…go for it, be yourself, be confident and creative. But, if you’re still unsure about submitting then get to know the type of work we’ve published and if anything else we promise you’ll have a great read.

Alongside our collected volumes we also publish two series of booklets: Poetry and Fiction. These booklets are reserved for individual authors who we have built a relationship with and invite to expand on their written work for publication.

Things to remember:

When laying out your document file for submissions, please start each piece on a new page, as this makes it easier to read and define each piece of writing. Also include your full name and e-mail address at the top of each page.

If you are submitting by e-mail then please attach all of your work as one document file, not multiple files. Please don't post work directly into the message body, it makes it difficult to give your writing the attention it deserves.

If sending by post please don’t forget to include your name and return address on an SAE if you’d like us to return your poems after consideration.

So, if you are ready, then please send your submissions by e-mail to:
